Heart Transplant

To this: http://www.wsbtv.com/…/police-suspect-hits-pedestria…/nkjbq/

At first I was speechless. But look at this spiritual implication as we get ready to celebrate on Passover our Passover Lamb, Yahshua (Jesus Christ).

Transplants are miraculous. The thought of someone being able to take a body part from one living being and put it into another, and make it work? Nothing but knowledge from Yah. Many transplants, the donor can give the organ and live. But not so for a heart transplant. Unfortunately, someone has to die. Often times when I think of heart transplants, I think of the movie, John Q. The story of a man who's son needed a new heart. They tried everything and he watched his son grow sicker. The father finally makes the decision to sacrifice himself for his son to live. And while it didn't end that way (spoiler alert), it showed the sacrifice needed for another to live.

For this young man, someone had to die in order for him to have a "new heart". Yet, he squandered that gift. While this steams my clams in the natural world, I understand, it's not all that uncommon in the spiritual.

So as we think about pastel colors and church suits, sun-worship breakfasts, Ishtar's ham, fertility goddess eggs and fertility bunnies - remember, there was a REAL person that died that you may have a NEW heart. His Father gave up the most precious gift He had for us in the sacrifice of His Son. Don't squander that gift....

Ezekiel 36:26New Living Translation (NLT)
26 And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.
2 Corinthians 5:15,17New Living Translation (NLT)
15 He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them...17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
Have a good one!
